The popular comedy series “Hacks” is making its return for a third season. The teaser for the upcoming season has been released by Max, revealing that the first two episodes will be available for streaming on May 2. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly, leading up to the season finale on May 30.
The teaser features Deborah Vance and her head writer Ava Daniels reuniting in Las Vegas, as they navigate their separate paths in the entertainment industry.
Returning for Season 3 are regular cast members including Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo. Guest stars for the upcoming season include Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace, and Tony Goldwyn.
“Hacks” has been praised by critics since its debut in May 2021. Lead actress Jean Smart has won two Emmy Awards for her role, and the show has also received awards for directing and writing. The series is created and shown by Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, with executive producers including Downs, Aniello, Statsky, Michael Schur, David Miner, and Morgan Sackett.
